We inform you that in order to carry out business with their customers and registered users, CERAMICA MEDITERRANEA collects information regarding them, also acquired verbally, directly or through third parties that may be considered “personal data” according to legislative decree. no. 196/2003 (known as the “Privacy code”).

The legislation referred to requires anyone who processes personal data to inform the data subject about which data is processed and to provide certain details regarding the processing thereof, which, in any case should be done with fairness and transparency in order to safeguard your confidentiality and rights. Therefore, as provided for by article 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, we provide the following information:

We process personal data and e-mail addresses that are required for us to conduct our business with those who voluntarily request information and/or to register to our newsletter and update services regarding the content of the website. Generally, we do not process any data deemed to be of a sensitive or judicial nature pursuant to article 4, paragraph 1 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003. Should it be necessary to process this type of data, we will ask for your consent before doing so.

Furthermore, when you visit our website, our web servers automatically record the technical access data such as the IP address of the connected computer, the items you have requested and viewed, as well as the date and time of the request. This data cannot be attributed to a specific person. We use this technical access data exclusively to improve the appeal and user experience of our website and if necessary, to identify any technical difficulties there may be with our website as quickly as possible.

The data collected (name, surname, mobile phone number, province of residence, topics of interest, etc.) and e-mail address, are processed for the purpose of providing the service i.e. the periodic sending of technical and commercial information related to our business sector, updates regarding offers or new content of the website www.cermed.it and social media channels on which we are present. The data will be processed for the entire duration of the relationship, until revoked.

Data processing is performed using tools and procedures that guarantee security and confidentiality and can be performed either with or without the use of electronic means.

Personal data, e-mail, and other information that is provided voluntarily, will be stored on digital media. It will be used exclusively to meet specific user requests and, in the case of a newsletter subscription, to periodically forward, automatically, information and news regarding our activities and our sector, together with advertising and promotional communications regarding the services we provide.

  • obtain the cancellation, the transformation into an anonymous form, or the blocking of data it is unnecessary to hold with regards to the purpose for which it was collected or processed.
  • obtain the updating, rectification, or integration of his/her data
  • oppose, in whole or in part, on legitimate grounds, the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even if pertinent to the purpose for which it was collected.

Legislative Decree No. 196/2003,

Article 7 – Right to access personal data and other rights

  1. The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning him/her, even if this data has not yet been recorded and the communication of such data in an intelligible form.
  2. The data subject has the right to obtain information regarding:
    a) the source of the personal data;
    b) the purposes and methods of the data processing;
    c) the logic applied to the processing if it is carried out with the aid of electronic means;
    d) the identity of the data controller, data processors and the designated representative as indicated in  article 5, comma 2;
    e) entities or categories of entity to whom or which the data may be communicated to or who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative within the country, data processors or persons in charge of data processing.
  3. The data subject is entitled to obtain:
    a) the updating, rectification, or, where of interest, integration of the data;
    b) the deletion, the transformation into an anonymous form, or the blocking of data that has been processed unlawfully, including the data it is unnecessary to retain for purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed;
    c) a certification that the operations referred to in a) and b) have been notified, including their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data was communicated or disclosed, unless when the fulfillment of this requirement proves impossible or involves the use of means which are manifestly disproportionate to the rights of protection.
  4. The data subject has the right to oppose, in whole or in part:
    a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even if this is pertinent to the purpose for which it was collected;
    b) the processing of personal data concerning him for the purpose of sending advertising materials, direct sales or for the purpose of carrying out market research or commercial communications.
